How do Clairemont's mesa, canyon, and coastal air work on elevated elements?
A Clairemont balcony doesn't weather the way a beachfront one does, and it doesn't dry out like one in the dry backcountry either. This is mesa-top tract laid over a web of finger canyons, a few miles in from Mission and Pacific Bay, catching coastal humidity without the constant salt spray of the immediate coast. - Blocked walkway drainage — scuppers and landing drains packed with debris, holding the next rain against the framing on the shared upper walkways
I separate cosmetic aging from a real load-bearing or safety defect, so an unsafe call reflects an actual hazard and not just a tired finish — and every call is photographed for the record.
